I use my Sweet Rocker in the winter kayaking and have been down to minus 10, this is as cold if not colder than normal Ski conditions. It hasn't noticeably changed and I still trust the helmet 100% (myself 50%).

This has been covered loads on UKRGB. The helmets are basically identical. The issue is certification. Sweet have to pay for the helmet to be tested against each certification, and don't. Presuambly to save costs.

Somewhere on UKRGB is a photo of the inside of a Rocker, which has "trooper" imprinted on it from the mould or vice versa.

Back on topic, if you're persuading the parents to sponsor you I'd suggest a decent helmet. You can borrow club cags or wetsuits, or find them second hand on UKRGB and ebay.

Hey Alex, I think you've missed the boat now, I am now going with Carrick on Thursday evening, and I'm fairly sure he has a full car! If there is enough interest I will drive tomorrow evening, then Lee Bryn and Alex can go too.

Alternatively, they'll be a number of companies at NSR. You could have a look then.

(edited post - stable, horse, all that malarkey)

Crackin'. I told the first few takers 6pm at Parky Steps so if Nic's okay with that, we got us a convoy.

Alternatively, I may go on sat. I've decided that its time to get boating again. I'm well excited.

That's ideal, I might get my car to leave more like 5ish... I am going for tea at a family friends tomorrow night, so I want the faffless car... not people who are going to spend hours!

Or would people be interested in a morning trip?
Is there interest for going around 11ish?

I'm in uni til 4 tomorrow, so i'd rather leave in the afternoon. That said, I should be fairly faff-free for once.
I'm not in Aberystwyth.
